Somebody should tell us, right at the start of our lives, that we are dying. Then we might live life to the limit, every minute of every day. Do it! I say. Whatever you want to do, do it now! There are only so many tomorrows. –Pope Paul VI

How many times to we tell ourselves we’ll get to it tomorrow? Maybe it’s that one thing we’ve been telling ourselves we should start, or that one dream we’ve had for years. And although we say we want to do it, we find ourselves continuing to push it off till later.

The problem with this, though, is our lives our finite, and we have no idea how long we each have.

But though we may not know how many tomorrows there will be, we do know that we have today. Which means, if there’s something we know we need to do, we might as well make use of the only time we’re guaranteed — the present.
