It’s not enough to know the facts of the situation. We also need to know how to interpret them.

Ultimately, the goal of tracking down what’s really going on is so we can make wise decisions.  But having all the facts at our disposal may not be enough. We still may need help connecting the dots and understanding the potential implications of our choices.

That’s where having trusted counselors can be invaluable—people we can turn to in order to help us better assess the situation and determine what the wise decision is at that particular time.

Because it’s not just about knowing the facts—it’s also about understanding what we’re seeing.
