Sometimes the hard work is not in creating more, but in bringing focus to what we already have.
Consider the difference between a concise and focused 15 minute talk, and someone rambling on for an hour. One is longer, but not necessarily better. But to distill what needs to be said or done into something that is concise and focused takes work. And work takes time.
Bringing focus to what you’re doing isn’t always quick or easy. But the time spent doing so does make a difference.
